Best Book for Life!

This book is about the journey of life. It equips you with all that you need to take on the journey.
Once you read it, you are going to develop a new thinking style that no university degree can offer. You are going to look at the universe in a different way.
You are going to believe in everything based on logical proofs that no philosopher could ever prove.
When I write this review, you know I have written it because it has my signature in it. In the same way the universe has been designed by such a one that he prints his signature on each of his masterpieces.
As a summary this book lets you see the signature of the creator in a very logical manner.
You won't regret reading this book once.
You will regret if you only read it once. I have read it many times, and I still want to read more.

Wonderful Book

Besides the book quality, the words inside the book is valuable to read. You agree some of the subject or not. However, this book and its collection is written in really bad conditions such as in prison in immigration in the pressure of the first days of Republic of Turkey etc.
Author spend his life only for Islam and a peaceful world. He tried to explain many things as much as he could.

I was planning to buy this book but when looking in the book, I noticed that this is NOT an accurate translation of "The Words" (when I compared it to its original Turkish version). Some changes were made and some passages where shortened. It is (no doubt) true that translation is always a difficult task. Every translation will probably have its own shortcomings. However, shortening passages cannot be acceptable (unless you explicitly say that your translation is an abridged version).
Examples:
This is the first paragraph of the First Word in Turkish,
"Ey kardeş! Benden birkaç nasihat istedin. Sen bir asker olduğun için, askerlik temsilâtıyla, sekiz hikâyeciklerle bir kaç hakikati nefsimle beraber dinle. Çünkü ben nefsimi herkesten ziyade nasihate muhtaç görüyorum. Vaktiyle sekiz âyetten istifade ettiğim Sekiz Sözü biraz uzunca nefsime demiştim. Şimdi kısaca ve avam lisanıyla nefsime diyeceğim. Kim isterse beraber dinlesin."
This is the translation from Sukran Vahide,
"Brother! You wanted a few words of advice from me, so listen to a few truths included in eight short stories, which since you are a soldier, are in the form of comparisons of a military nature. I consider my own soul to need advice more than anyone, and at one time I addressed my soul at some length with eight Words inspired by eight verses of the Qur'an from which I had benefited. Now I shall address my soul with these same Words, but briefly and in the language of ordinary people. Whoever wishes may listen together with me."
Vahide's translation is the is the full/complete translation of this text.
Now let's look at Akarsu's translation
"Fellow Muslims. You asked for advice, so listen to a few truths contained in the following allegories. Since you are soldiers, I will express them in military terms."
This translation omits the following:
1) The "allegories" are supposed to be EIGHT allegories (ie, the first eight chapters of The Words)
2) The author Bediuzzaman (may Allah be pleased with him) says he needs this advice more than anyone.
3) Bediuzzaman (may Allah be pleased with him) says he is going to explain these truths in the language of ordinary people.
---Analysis---
1) You may have the tendency to say these are trivial matters which shouldn't mean much. However, the Risale-i Nur is very dense and theoretical that even simple details matter in understanding the whole picture. For example, when Bediuzzaman (may Allah be pleased with him) says he needs advice more than anyone...this is actually related to the fact that he calls this age the age of arrogance. Also, he says he will explain these truths in the language of ordinary people, because these truths are normally taught in very difficult books that only Islamic scholars can read...and Bediuzzaman (may Allah be pleased with him) simplifies these difficult concepts for ordinary people like us...
2) This is only the VERY FIRST PASSAGE of the The Words. If Akarsu is omitting information in the VERY FIRST PASSAGE, then how can I trust this translation?

"İHTAR: Besmelenin rahmet noktasında parlak bir nuru, sönük aklıma uzaktan göründü. Onu, kendi nefsim için, nota suretinde kaydetmek istedim. Ve yirmi otuz kadar sırlar ile, o nurun etrafında bir daire çevirmekle avlamak ve zaptetmek arzu ettim. Fakat, maatteessüf, şimdilik o arzuma tam muvaffak olamadım. Yirmi otuzdan beş altıya indi.
"Ey insan!" dediğim vakit nefsimi murad ediyorum. Bu ders kendi nefsime has iken, ruhen benimle münasebettar ve nefsi nefsimden daha huşyar zatlara, belki medar-ı istifade olur niyetiyle, On Dördüncü Lem'anın İkinci Makamı olarak, müdakkik kardeşlerimin tasviplerine havale ediyorum. Bu ders akıldan ziyade kalbe bakar; delilden ziyade zevke nâzırdır."
Vahide's translation:
"NOTE: A bright light from "In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate" concerning divine mercy appeared to my dull mind from afar. I wanted to record it for myself in the form of notes, to hunt it down and capture it, and circumscribe the light with twenty to thirty mysteries. But unfortunately I was not able to do this at the present time and the twenty or thirty mysteries were reduced to five or six.
When I say: "O man!", I mean myself. Although this lesson addresses my own soul in particular, I refer it as the Second Station of the Fourteenth Flash for the approval of my meticulous brothers in the hope that it may benefit those with whom I am connected spiritually and whose souls are more discerning than mine. This lesson looks to the heart more than the reason, and to spiritual pleasure and perception rather than rational proofs."
Akarsu's translation:
"I expound upon six of the innumerable mysteries of the
basmala: In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate. Even though addressed particularly to
myself, I call it the "Second station of the Fourteenth Gleam." May it benefit those with whom I am associated spiritually and whose souls are wiser than mine. The argument touches the heart rather than the mind, and seeks to content the spirit rather than to regard rational proofs."
I will not explain which parts are missing. It's self explanatory.
