St. Nikolai is a modern "Chrysostom"

This is a fantastic book. Volume 1 is January - June, Volume 2 is July - December. For every day there is a biographical story of a saint or 2 (Which varies in length), a hymn of praise, some short wisdom for reflection and contemplation, and then a mini homily.St. Nikolai Velimirovic had an incredible way with words. It takes me about 10-15 minutes to read through and process the daily reading.

About the Author
Harold R. Kerbo is a professor of sociology at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Professor Kerbo is also the founder and Director of the Pacific Rim Group at Cal Poly, an organization which coordinates research and educational programs in Pacific Rim countries. In addition to other teaching experience in Tokyo, Professor Kerbo was a Fulbright Professor during 1988/1989 at Hiroshima University, as well as a visiting professor in the Law Faculty at Hiroshima Shudo University. During 1991, Professor Kerbo was a visiting professor at the University of Duisburg, Germany, and returned to the Dusseldorf area during 1992 and 1993 as a research professor conducting research on employee relations in Japanese corporations located in Germany. In 1990 Professor Kerbo received a Fulbright-Hays grant to study at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand, and for several months during 1994 to 1996 directed a research project on employee relations in American and Japanese corporations with operations in Thailand. During 1996 he was also a visiting professor in the MBA Program at the Prince of Songkla University in Thailand. During the winter term of 1999 professor Kerbo was a visiting professor at the University of Zurich, Switzerland. And during the fall term of 1999 he will be a visiting professor at the University of Wales. Professor Kerbo has published five books and numerous articles on the subjects of social stratification, comparative societies, corporate structure, and modern Japan. He is the author of Sociology: Social Structure and Social Conflict (MacMillan, 1989), and along with John A. McKinstry, the author of Who Rules Japan?: The Inner-Circles of Economic and Political Power (Greenwood/Praeger, 1995). Professor Kerbo is creator and general editor of the McGraw-Hill Comparative Societies Series which will include books on 12 countries.

Social Stratification and Inequality

READ THIS BOOK!! You need to truly understand the class system in America and the means used to sustain it. This book is a fantastic survey of the class system in American society. It also includes analyses of world stratification systems and various theories surrounding these systems. Previous reviews of this book have had a narrow focus, rather than making judgement on a wholistic basis. A must-read to be sure!

A Favorite Soc Textbook

I had to purchase this book for class and it's become one of my favorite textbooks thus far. Kerbo is clearly biased, however he does present different and conflicting theories, and criticisms of said theories, to every issue explored in the book - and there's a LOT packed in. I think he did a very good job of attempting to tackle so much and focus on areas with the most study done on them. He also makes it clear that more research needs to be done as we are far from finding all the answers.

As for readability, there are a few chapters that are extremely dry - lots of numeral figures to illustrate his points. However, the entire book is extremely eye-opening and there are many useful graphs and charts to help present the data.

Great info, well organized

For all of those people interested in income and wealth inequality, this is a great source for facts and research to back up your arguments. When I visited the Occupy Houston protests a few years ago, for example, I found that this was the type of stuff everyone was talking about, yet few people had actual research to support their arguments. I highly recommend this book. I read it for a graduate-level sociology seminar. It gathers a great deal of important research on the topic of inequality and presents it in a very well-organized manner.

Dyeing and Bleaching

If you plan to try your own dyeing and bleaching of furs and feathers than you need this book it will save you a lot of time and trouble and cut the learning curve down to nothing. it tells you just what you need and how to mix the dyes and how to prep the fur (like it tells you to soak the fur or feather in water for a while before dyeing, I have never read that any place else and it helped) so lots of information and tips
if I had purchased this book frist I would have save the cost on failed fur dyeing.

Never a dull moment

After reading Book 1 in the Super Two series, I looked forward to the second book, Gifted. I thought the novel was fast-paced and didn't drag on.
The plot and storyline were well-developed and new information was constantly being revealed in order to keep the reader engaged. The characters, Chrissy and Michael, were well-rounded and likeable which made it easy to want to root for them to succeed in the end. The novel was full of suspense and drama, especially during the part where Chrissy meets her father for the first time in a very long time. There really was not a dull moment in this novel.

I enjoyed the mystery and the adventure of the good versus the evil side! But I cannot not reveal who wins here in this review! you will need to get it yourself and you will not be sorry you did. I sure did not! A very clean read! Packed with a fast placed story.may yet not a long one either. One you will find yourself not being able to set it aside till you have finished reading it. This is why I am giving this a five star rating. I recommend this for both teens and up who enjoys a fast paced page turner full of suspense,too! I received this ebook for free and in exchange I have now given this an honest review!

Another great read for upper elementary to middle school children. A fast paced Christian sci-fi that will keep their attention until the end. Chrissy escapes a brain operation that could rob her of the gifts she has with a friend. It is a great story of learning and discovery. You and your children will love this book.

Benchmark for Modern Day Black Panther Stories

When a Marvel character is announced for the big screen, you know an incoming of new printings is inbound to be published. With his first appearance next year in Captain America: Civil War and his own film in 2017, Black Panther is a character long over due for the spot light. Which, you would think being the first African American superhero in comics would get you more respect than some other characters since appearing in 1966.

So goes with a quick recap: T'Challa, AKA Black Panther ; King of Wakanda, an African nation with some of the most wealthiest and advanced technology in the world thanks to it being the location of vibranium, one of the most sought after minerals in existence. Black Panther is super hero for the Avengers and leader/monarch figurehead to the Wakandan people. Now that means there have been numerous interpretations of the character throughout the years, but it wasn’t until the character was relaunched in 1998 series under black writer Christopher Priest where he became the modern day version everyone uses now. And yes, it’s a pleasant offering for new and old readers on Black Panther.

Collecting issues #1-17 (, BLACK PANTHER BY CHRISTOPHER PRIEST VOL.1 COMPLETE COLLECTION shows T'Challa comes to America to investigate the kidnapping and murder of a little girl who was affiliated with a Wakandian charity group. Tensions are high for Wakanda having a civil war back home, but T’Challa feels he needs to investigate this himself even with problems in his home land. So T’Challa brings his own entourage of body guards including Zuri, a hulk-like fighter and two teenage assassin’s named the Dora Milhje, with government agent Everett K. Ross is assigned as an escort to assist and keep relations with Wakanda. He figured it would be easy work and just tailed along with the King's entourage. But things go crazy quickly as Black Panther has been setup, his home country been taken over from his absence, and the lord of Hell, Mephisto, has something to do with all of it.

Various versions of Panther existed before Priest took control like the 70’s being very serious and reflective, to Jack Kirby being over the top. Priest reverts Panther more akin to Stan Lee’s original version being able to outsmart the likes of Reed Richards (who is one of the smartest characters in the Marvel Universe) and go toe-to-toe with The Thing, while adding a some of his past versions as to no alter the character’s rich history. This makes Priest work on Panther parts urban vigilante, political thriller, and even satire.

The first twelve issues are one tightly woven story of Black Panther dealing with the kidnapping case and reclaiming Wakanda, while issues #13 through #17 are single/two issue tales of Panther teaming up with various Marvel characters that are quite amusing to see the interaction with. This is made up for the narration of the stories by Everett K. Ross, who speaks through his observations in a highly comical and witty method to his superiors (for example he loses his pants in front of Mephisto and by accidently selling his soul for pants, he just keeps unzipping his pants to have another pair on). He’s a coward and a bit dumb, as well as explains his stories in a non-linear narrative akin to the Quentin Tarantino film, Pulp Fiction (which even his superior mentions this). So while Ross is the comedic relief and narrator, Black Panther or “the Client” as Ross says, is the straight man with very little to say. It’s a great way to counter balance the vibe for readers.

And because Panther is the straight man, Priest makes Panther very much like DC’s Batman in his abilities and gadgets, his overall look, and insane strategist skills in keeping 10-steps ahead of everyone, so much so that he admits to joining the Avengers just so he can keep an eye on them if they were a threat to Wakanda . Even his new villain Achebe, looks and acts an awful lot like DC’s Joker with a large grinning smile and crazy habits. This Batman-esque Black Panther has become the standard for modern day writers to inhabit that makes this a worthwhile read, being more about using his smarts and being open to the world.

The art supplied from the first 5 issues is Mark Texeira, Vince Evans doing the second story arc with Joe Jusko and Mike Manley, with Sal Velluto doing the rest. The art is great that ranges from gritty to comical (like issue #8 having an ode to Stan Lee/Jack Kirby flashback sequence). It’s overall good stuff. With the addition of the Marvel Knights Sketchbook extras that give numerous drawings and interviews to Priest on the character that are worth reading.

Now I know my Amazon rating is 5 stars, but I’m scoring it around 4 ½ stars. The only problems I had were the storytelling method Priest uses like Pulp Fiction is confusing at first. In fact, it’s used predominantly throughout his whole run on Black Panther. It does ease up in later issues, but the shifting story might not jive well with some readers. And the second aspect might be the racism aspect some readers might get. What I mean by this is the dichotomy between Ross and Panther that some sources have pointed out throughout the years. Ross is the bumbling white guy who gets chased down the White House by the Present of the United States while Black Panther is the cool-headed, rich super hero. I personally didn’t get that vibe, as well as Priest himself not portraying dumb ethnicities. He even goes so far as to have a few scenes where black characters try to sway Panther into a symbol for African Americans, which Panther shoots this down and looks at all lives, regardless of skin color, being vital to life. But I just wanted to point that out if any new readers get that feeling. And the notion of Black Panther being a Batman-like clone might gel well either (even if both characters have different upbringings and motives).

Still, I’m glad Marvel decided to reprint these fine stories. They are exciting, funny, and even insightful to still read about and make Black Panther stand out from the other characters. It was ground-breaking stuff back in the day, which you can see why he has become a powerful figure in modern Marvel comics thanks to Priest work on the character. Well with Black Panther making his film debut next year, this is the first collection to be released to lead up to next year. The first two trades (Black Panther Vol. 1: The Client and Black Panther: Enemy Of The State TPB) are out of print and pricey, with much of Priest work uncollected before. So with writing a whopping 62-issues, there is plenty of Black Panther material on the way.

An Important Collection for A Thoroughly Important Character

Not much that I can add to this list of reviews that hasn't already been said. Except for explaining the Title of this review. I've been labeled Peter Pan by coworkers because of my growing collection of graphic novels & comics...a medium of storytelling I couldn't afford as a little boy in the Caribbean but can spend "vast" amounts of money on now as an adult. In my 33 years of life & 27 years of reading I'd never come across a character as important (to me) as T'Challa: a dark-skinned super-hero who's a KING, noble, powerful, cunning and (according to many of the female characters herein) sexy. I found Hudlin's (Who Is) Black Panther volume by chance, which sent me to pick up this Collection 1 by Priest. Priest's writing (for me) set a standard. There are some plot twists that I didn't see coming, with BP having double- and triple-crossed many of the enemies he encounters...there are (still relevant) explorations of race with regards to how "white" America sees "black" America and how darker-skinned Americans see themselves...using Everett Ross as the narrator and (according to Priest) voice of not only white America but ALL of comic fandom with regards to how he/we saw the BP character to that point was genius...the invention of the deadly Dora Milaje and the innate conflicts that come with having two deadly, teenage body-guards who were also (only in theory, Ross reminds us) concubines, was brilliant and made sense given the tribal make-up of Wakanda and T'Challa's status as King. My one criticism, writing-wise, is the consistent reliance on an in media res opening to many of the stories which results in stale flashbacks and "oh, let me explain how we got here" moments. The art is the only inconsistency, with the opening artist leaving soon after the first arc. The final artist in this collection is perhaps my least favorite, but none of the art is bad.
T'Challa is an important character because--not to beat a dead horse--he's the first African Marvel super-hero, who beats the Fantastic 4 in his introduction, who is as powerful as Capt America (who respects him as an equal & a friend), who is loyal, smart, royal, noble to a fault, has no racial inferiority complex, is not afraid of any power structure or government, who'll kill but only if he finds it absolutely necessary, who cares about his people as well as others, and who is just plain AWESOME at his job...or, in other words, the ANTITHESIS of what the media has portrayed dark-skinned men to be over the past 200 years, and what some dark-skinned people have believed about themselves over that same time period. Regardless of their reasoning (expected sales boosts, pre-cursor to the announced BP movie, whatever else) I'm happy Marvel decided to finally release Priest's run on BP, even if the quality did taper off toward the end of it back in the late 90's/early 2000's. This is the collection and the character I will definitely introduce first to my children whenever they decided to poke at or thumb through their father's comic collection.

Equal parts West Wing/Pulp Fiction/Coming to America

Priest's work here firmly established the Black Panther as a force to be reckoned with in the Marvel Universe. As smart as Iron Man, as tough as Captain America; Panther was moved out of the background for fans who thought of him as another affirmative action Avenger. Instead, he's portrayed as a stranger in a strange land as a tribal head of state searching for justice for his people in our chaotic country. This series gives great depth to the Panther's country of Wakanda, bringing it to logical conclusions without shunning years of continuity. Also, it brings with it a rich cast of supporting characters. Not the least of whom is the readers P.O.V. character: Everett K. Ross, an infinite source of racial awkwardness and misunderstanding.

Equal parts West Wing, Pulp Fiction and Coming to America, the book's writing is socially, racially and politically irreverent fun*. While the narrative's linear jumble can be challenging at times but reads better here for all being in one place. Additionally, the books starts off with a gorgeous run of painted artwork before switching over to an animated style and then settling in on more traditional comic styles. This doesn't help narrative troubles, especially in regards to the political intrigue aspects of plot. But, really, this is my only complaint about this book.

I am eagerly anticipating the next two volumes to this story and hope for a final and fourth installment. When my friends ask why they should be excited about an upcoming Black Panther movie, this is what I'm going to push in their direction. It's a gorgeous collection and one I've been waiting ten years for.

*For fans concerned about the racial undertones of this story, I feel fairly confident in saying that many stereotypes are skewered. The author of these works is African American and fairly vocal about what the work meant to him. You can google him and find numerous discussions he's held on the topic. Or you can read his column at the end of this volume.

Great! ...but read it in order...

I’m happy about the release of this book, back to Camp Half Blood, and I admit the trip into Norse mythology was fun for a bit, but I’ve grown quite fond of our past protagonists and it was nice to have them back. One thing I would recommend, this book could be read on its own, without reading the others that have come before it, but I wouldn’t. There are some brief summaries of Camp Half-Blood and Camp Jupiter, but it talks about the outcome of those events. Also, the book takes place at the start of Riordian’s last book Magnus Chase, and you know that based on what Annabeth is doing, she’s in Boston.

The book has Percy for a bit in it, but then it is primarily focused on Apollo and a new demi-god Meg. Like many of Riordian’s past books, the origins of Meg are a bit of a mystery. Uh, I really have to say, there are some hysterical reference in the book that are not entirely based on the knowledge of children in the normal YA range. Shout-out to a Rocky Horror mention! Anyway, the book is enjoyable to read as all the others and is quick.

Apollo is on earth as a mortal, the oracles have stopped prophesizing and there are a lot of tie-in’s to other stories that will emerge in the future, in particular Leo. I was worried that Apollo would annoy me, but his arrogance is amusing, and he has some pretty interesting narratives on his fatherhood, especially being proud of his children’s vanity. As a condition of his time on earth he must serve a demi-God, which is an enjoyable paring to read about and the character of Meg is unique and very strong. There’s still more to learn about her background though, which I am excited for in the future.

I don’t want to give too much away, but the new threat is a bit different from the past and pertains to historical figures, not simply the Gods and Goddesses in the traditional sense. The entire story is told from Apollo’s perspective and it’s kind of nice to have on-going pop-culture references, even as recent as Alabama Shakes.

I highly recommend it! However, wait to read this after you’ve read the other Percy Jackson books!

The Trials of Apollo Book One The Hidden Oracle by Rick Riordan is the start of a new Greek mythology series from middle grade staple Rick Riordan. This new series centres around the god Apollo, who has been stripped of his godly powers by his father, Zeus. Naturally, adventures and shenanigans ensue.

For me this read a little younger than the Heroes of Olympus series, more in line with Percy Jackson. Apollo’s human persona is aged 16, but he spends a lot of time hanging around with 13 year old Meg which naturally makes the feel of the book somewhat younger. Also, there is no emphasis at all on romantic relationships.

What I liked

Riordan’s writing style. After many series including Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Heroes of Olympus, Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard, Riordan’s light, witty style should be familiar to most readers. If you enjoyed the earlier books, you will certainly enjoy this one. They are very funny. I breezed through The Hidden Oracle in an afternoon. While it is not necessary to have read the earlier series, I would strongly recommend doing so before picking up this latest one. There are many references to characters and events from previous entries that, while not necessary to enjoy the story, are enhanced by knowledge of both of the other Olympian series.

The protagonist. I was amused by Apollo – his attitude and the circumstances he kept finding himself in. In theme it’s very similar to Marvel’s Thor movie in which a god becomes mortal but takes some time to adjust to his new situation. I enjoyed Apollo’s character development and how he changes throughout the course of the adventure. I do have some concerns if that level of character development can be sustained through the other four planned books in the series, but time will tell.

Catchups on our other favourite demigods. In this book we touch base with our heroes from the previous series. It was good to hear how Percy, Annabeth, Jason, Piper, Leo and the others are all getting on with their post Gaea lives.

What I didn’t like

Perhaps because this was aimed at a younger audience, at times it was a little formulaic, especially if you know the previous book. Still, it’s more than made up for by Riordan’s wit and humour.

In summary, if you’ve enjoyed the previous books, you will certainly enjoy The Trials of Apollo. I gave it four stars out of five.

if you've enjoyed reading about Percy Jackson (remember him

Well, if you've enjoyed reading about Percy Jackson (remember him?) you'll be happy to hear that he's back! But, no, this book is not about him, it's about pool old Apollo, that fine old Greek god of archery, and poetry, and plagues and other things. On page one he's falling into an alley in New York City, and can't remember why his old Dad, Zeus, is punishing him. By the end of the book (first in a series) he still doesn't know, but we've seen him learn quite a bit about himself and others. He changes, as all good characters must, and for the better. And, much like in the Magnus Chase series (pretty sure I reviewed that book too) we learn some things about ancient gods, only Greek and Roman ones this time. So far, no equivalent of Thor getting 300 digital channels on his hammer, but the series is young.

So, Rick Riordan has done it again. I say, go for it!

About the Author

Frédéric Delavier is a gifted artist with an exceptional knowledge of human anatomy. He studied morphology and anatomy for five years at the prestigious École des Beaux-Arts in Paris and studied dissection for three years at the Paris Faculté de Médecine.

The former editor in chief of the French magazine PowerMag, Delavier is currently a journalist for the French magazine Le Monde du Muscle and a contributor to several other muscle publications, including Men's Health Germany. He is the author of the best-selling Strength Training Anatomy and Women’s Strength Training Anatomy.

Delavier won the French powerlifting title in 1988 and makes annual presentations on the sport applications of biomechanics at conferences in Switzerland. His teaching efforts have earned him the Grand Prix de Techniques et de Pédagogie Sportive. Delavier lives in Paris, France.

Michael Gundill, MBA, has written 13 books on strength training, sport nutrition, and health. His books have been translated into multiple languages, and he has written over 500 articles for bodybuilding and fitness magazines around the world, including Iron Man and Dirty Dieting. In 1998 he won the Article of the Year award at the Fourth Academy of Bodybuilding Fitness & Sports Awards in California.

Gundill started weightlifting in 1983 in order to improve his rowing performances. Most of his training years were spent completing specific lifting programs in his home. As he gained muscle and refined his program, he began to learn more about physiology, anatomy, and biomechanics and started studying those subjects in medical journals. Since 1995 he has been writing about his discoveries in various bodybuilding and fitness magazines all over the world.

Comparison of Delavier's books

None of the reviews thus far have addressed how Strength Training Anatomy and the Strength Training Anatomy Workout books differ, so you might be wondering which one to buy.

Strength Training Anatomy, 3rd Edition, is a reference book--it's got really cool drawings with tips for common techniques at the gym. It's no-nonsense and great for weight-lifters who have a great routine already but want to optimize it, or for the intellectual athlete who wants to gain a greater understanding of muscles in motion.

The Strength Training Anatomy Workout will teach beginners how to start and athletes how to optimize strength for their sport. It goes into breathing techniques while lifting, how many sets and reps one should perform, how often to work out, etc. Delavier and Gundill have lots of drawings, pre-planned routines including those to supplement other sports, and succinct advice to get the most out of every technique. Important to note, it focuses on working out with weights and resistance bands and eschews gym equipment. If you want to work out at home, it's great, if you want to join a gym, you'll need Volume II.

Strength Training Anatomy Workout Volume II will show you how to make the most of the gym if you want some serious strength training. It has many different routines, the low-down on all the equipment you'll find at the gym, great advice on optimizing every technique, and even more drawings to help guide you to excellent technique. This is the book to get if you want to get into body building.

Overall, these books are great. Delavier and Gundill translate their extensive anatomy and weight-lifting knowledge into language anyone can understand and information is succinct so reading's a pleasure. Do they work? I gained 15 lbs in 6 months after having plateaued with my previous, self-made routine.

==Lots of Strengths==

With over 450,000 copies sold, this book is arguably the best book of its kind. What's it useful for? Mainly to help the reader (from the weekend athlete to the athletic trainer to the professional bodybuilder) figure out what exercises work what muscles.

It's neatly divided up into sections (arms, shoulders, chest, back, etc.), so all you really have to do is flip to one of these sections and it will have detailed pictures of various exercises and exactly which muscles are involved.

A great reference to keep have around, I give it five stars easy. Readers who lift weights regularly might also be interested in Bulletproof Your Shoulder to avoid shoulder problems a lot of lifters eventually get.

Excellent strength training resource from a company with top-notch customer service

I bought the 2nd edition of this book well over a year ago when I was on a working out kick. Unfortunately life got in the way and I stopped going to the gym for several months, and even when I started back I only dabbled with cardio workouts. About 4 months ago I started back on weights and dug out this book. Prior to that I hadn't opened it. The book as it turns out had serious printing issues, making much of it unusable. It was long past the time frame in which I could have returned it to Amazon so I contacted the publisher, Human Kinetics, instead. Their customer service was excellent! They were aware of a small number of mis-prints that fit my description and were more than happy to replace it. The CS person asked if it would be ok if the replacement was delayed a few weeks until the 3rd edition was available which greatly pleased me. I received the new book about a week ago and it was in perfect condition. Many thanks to the HK folks for their fine customer service!

For those that don't already know what's in this book let me explain in detail. Everyone has seen the anatomy posters on the gym walls. The individual caricatures on the posters display a cut-away model of the human body sans skin. It highlights a muscle or group of muscles and then shows you an exercise that you can use to work that specific muscle. There usually isn't much more detail than that. Text is minimal. This book is at it basics a book version of those posters. However this book goes much, much further. The caricatures for individual muscles and muscle groups in this book usually have multiple exercise options. Text in this book explains in detail how to properly perform the exercise. It also provides useful tips on how to slightly alter the exercise to accommodate common injuries (ie, turn your wrists this way to not engage a torn wrist flexor). There are several pages of guides and background information on how to avoid certain injuries such as not fully extending your arms when doing curls to avoid tendinitis down the road. As another example the book goes into detail on how and why crunches should ALWAYS be performed with an inward curving spine (ie, fetal curve). This is to minimize the usage of the Psoas Major & Minor hip flexors and avoid the back injury they can cause. There are several excellent section of pure information in this book. The caricatures in this book are truly excellent. The artist did a fantastic job positioning and drawing the body to emphasize exactly what the reader needs to see and understand. The 3rd Edition also adds text on proper stretching among other things.

I highly recommend this book to every single person lifting weights at all levels. I've shown the book to friends, coworkers and people at the gym. I've even sung its praises to complete strangers in checkout lines and restaurants. I can't say enough good things about it. The only negative thing I can think of (more of a wishful thinking thing) is that it's only available in paperback. I wish it was also available as a hardback. Taking this to the gym with you will wear it out eventually. Of course for its low price replacing it is inexpensive. It's an excellent resource.

Get this if you want to understand basic immunology

This book is a must have for someone struggling with immunology (be honest, that means everyone, because at some point everyone will struggle with it). It will help build the fundamental understanding any future doctor, nurse, or other healthcare provider should have. As a nursing student I was so happy with this book and the key concepts it helped me to understand. The section on allergies and autoimmunity I found to be done very well, especially since those are subjects that few teachers I have met would discuss.

I love these series. It makes a mundane topic an interesting read. It's all basic essentials and that's how one needs to look at it. Before you make the diagnoses you have to know the normal then one can analyze the abnormal.

Simple and concise overview of immunology

This is an excellent book for medical students and whoever is interested in getting an outline/overview of what immunology is about. You may not get the most out of this book if you just want to use it for boards. But you will find it very useful if you use it as a review/summary book for immunology or if you want to know the basics of immunology. In this regard, therefore, it is a short and concise book and great for its value.
